Corinthian Colleges, Inc. operates as a post-secondary education company in the United States and Canada. As of June 30, 2005, the company operated 46 diploma-granting schools with curricula focused in the healthcare, business, electronics, and information technology fields. Fifteen CCI campuses offer diploma and degree programs in the fields of aircraft, automotive, diesel, marine and motorcycle technologies; information and electronic technologies; and healthcare; operated 33 degree-granting colleges that offers curricula principally in healthcare, business, criminal justice, and information technology and electronics; operated 34 colleges, which offer diploma programs in allied health, business, and information technology. CCI also operates 14 corporate training centers that provide onsite, outsourcing and e-learning services for business and technology professionals in the areas of skills development and management. Corinthian Colleges was founded in 1995 and is based in Santa Ana, California. The institution completed an initial public offering in 1999, and as of June 30, 2006, employed 9,500 personnel in North America that included 4,272 full-time and part-time faculty. Olympia College is one of the Corinthian’s colleges, operating six campuses in Illinois. The North Aurora facility includes personal computer labs, massage therapy and medical assisting laboratories, lecture rooms, resource center, student lounge, and administrative areas. |
